We’ve been talking to Vanquish for some time about building a Tonedoctor custom guitar, to heck with it we said, let’s launch a range!
2012 will see the launch of an exciting new range of Vanquish guitars crafted exclusively for Tonedoctor to our exacting specification.
Dubbed the “Alchemy” range, each one will feature a slight twist to the already award winning Legend and Mystique platforms.
Aptly named we’ve commissioned master luthier Adrian Hardman to combine elements from his own back catalogue plus our favourite vintage American type guitars to create the ultimate in guitar perfection…we wanted more hand-carving than ever before seen on a Vanquish and the freedom to let the luthier express himself creatively.
Each one will be a one-off creation with some unique features;
- Museum grade tonewoods; lacquered gloss finishes or oil & wax finish.
- Custom wound Vanquish VQ pickups usually found on selected artist models.
- More hand-carving using traditional luthiery techniques to achieve refined body shapes that are even more contoured, curvier and ergonomic.
- Unique truss rod cover inlay.
- Certificate of Authenticity, build sheet and photo diary of the build.
- Lifetime warranty.
- 3-years Anniversary set-up and service (limited numbers).
Each guitar will be hand-delivered with an open ended invitation to meet the builder himself.
